Background
Born on the 3 March 1973 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Carla is the mother of two boys, Harley and Jhye from a long term relationship with her childhood sweetheart. They broke up in 2002, but are still very close friends.
Neighbours
Carla is best know as Stephanie Scully in the Australian soap Neighbours. Carla joined the soap in 1999 which saw she and her family arrive in the fictional cul-de-sac of Ramsey street, which is a suburb of Melbourne.
Carla’s role in the show has shifted over the years, from big sister to mother and wife. As with any soap character Steph Scully has also had here fair share of wows. However she has always come out on top and the character is still as strong as when she was first added to the show.
Carla is also fairly involved with activities based around her career on the show and takes an active part in the "Neighbours Night" events which take place every month in both Melbourne and Sydney.
Relationships
As may be expected from someone in the public eye Carla tends to keep her relationships private. Reports have suggested she is currently dating actor Sullivan Stapleton (brother of Jacinta Stapleton who played Amy Greenwood on Neighbours) and she has attended several events publically with him.
Media
Carla tends to receive good press attention though isn't massively known as an Australian celebrity. There was a degree of controversy surrounding the 2005 Logie Award ceremony which saw reports that Carla refused to take part in a skit that the Neighbours cast did during the show and continued to explain that Carla also had a very bad off screen relation with fellow Neighbours star Stephanie Mcintosh (who plays Sky Mangel).
Charities
Carla is involved in the promotion and awareness of Aids charities, and is currently promoting YEAH, a charity dealing with Aids in Young Australians and helping educate the young in dealing with and preventing the disease.
Looking Ahead
Whilst Carla has been a part of Neighbours for several years now she does not look set to leave in the near future. If she was to leave she has hinted that futher acting roles would be good, maybe venturing into the world of the big screen.
